We’re pleased to welcome Alexander Skvorchevsky as an MBTN author in our Statistics and Operations area of modules. His first module, Statistics 3:  Multiple Correlation and Regression, will be released soon. Alexander is currently Professor of Industrial Engineering at The National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”.  He teaches bachelor`s, master’s and PhD students in Econometrics, Operational Research, and Informational Technologies and is the author of more than 30 scientific papers.  I’ve thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated working with him for the past several months and look forward to incorporating his knowledge into MBTN Academy.

Normally, I would wait a few more weeks to introduce Alexander, until his modules are available for review. However, because he is from Kharkiv, Ukraine, it makes sense to highlight his work now as a reminder that we are all connected in this global neighborhood.  So, as we welcome Alexander, our thoughts also go out to him and his fellow countrymen and women. Alexander is one of several MBTN connections in Eastern and Central Europe.  The people, towns, and country are beautiful in this part of the world.  Let us stand in solidarity with Ukraine, self-determination, and peace.
